There’s a lot to experience in the Dolomites during winter: the largest ski circuit in the world awaits you with 1,200 km of slopes across the entire Dolomiti Superski area and a further 175 km in Val Gardena for exceptional skiing fun. The practice slopes for the little ones can be found just a few minutes away from our apartment house. The Alpe di Siusi - the largest alpine pasture in Europe, the Seceda cable car and the Resciesa funicular are all easily accessible from our property. This provides the opportunity to easily access the world-famous Sellaronda or to take part in other sports, such as cross-country skiing, ice skating, snowshoeing, tobogganing and much more ...
Less of a sporty type? Then you can look forward to leisurely strolls through the Christmas market, simple winter hikes, idyllic horse-drawn carriage rides on the Alpe di Siusi and relaxing hours spent in the Mar Dolomit pool complex.

Ski instructors

Feeling at home away from home: that's what we mean by hospitality. We have three in-house ski instructors - host Georg and his daughters Alessia and Gloria, in collaboration with the ski school Ortisei, will show you the most beautiful slopes and the best tips and tricks for skiing. We’ll introduce you to our valley, stand by your side and ensure you have an unforgettable skiing holiday in Val Gardena.

Georg Sommavilla has been a ski instructor, ski instructor trainer and coach for almost 40 years. With so many years of experience, he’s the perfect contact for any questions about the pistes, ski equipment and ski lessons.

Alessia and Gloria Sommavilla are Georg's daughters and have been ski instructors for several years. They dedicate themselves to their customers with professionalism and passion in order to teach them to ski as well as possible. They are also always available for further questions.
